Thank you for your Payment
In the past couple of days, I have had a few emails with the subject “Thank you for your Payment”. Thankfully, I could pre-view them in Mailwasher, without actually downloading them. They were allegedly from either credit card companies or Macy’s; and with amounts in dollars. However the message might intrigue some people and they are persuaded to explore further. Oh! What wonderful webs they weave!

The idea is to persuade you to click on the attachment, which then infects you with something nasty. The opening ‘Hello!” is a give-away – most serious emails would be a addressed to a specific individual or business
At least with Mailwasher (how I love the program), I could check all of them beforehand; without the need to download and open them.
