Córas IT began in 2001 as a Computer Support and Web Design business based in Cheshire. It had a strong focus on small office networks and web building, and in later years helped people move into Cloud Computing. However, for the past few years the proprietor has been semi-retired and the business functions on a part time basis, focusing exclusively on website work.
Córas IT provides Web Building to small businesses and sole traders mainly in Cheshire and South Lancashire as well as Merseyside and Manchester. But being an internet-based company I am not geographically restricted. One of my most enduring clients was based in the midlands and we never met physically.
The websites which I build are mainly based on WordPress and have now begun working with the Kadence platform which sits on WordPress. The sites produced have a modern (2020s) ‘Look & Feel’. WordPress is great for those clients who like to manage their own content, adding to it and updating it on a regular basis. We can provide guidance and training in how to use WordPress. Another great advantage of WordPress is that there are multiple add-ons and plug-ins to do specific things such as on-stores, or engage with visitors.
